LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 383 student-athletes from 170 schools who comprise the 2025 NFCA Division III All-Region teams, with one George Fox softball player earning the honor.
Sharon Tomei was the lone Bruin to make the West All-Region Team, earning first-team honors following her record-breaking season. Bruin softball players were nominated for Region X, a region consisting of Northwest Conference, California, and Texas schools.
This is the second time in four years that Tomei has earned All-Region honors, last making the third team following her freshman season in 2022. Tomei, who was named All-NWC First Team a week prior, finished the season batting .482 with 64 hits, 22 home runs, and 142 total bases. All four of those marks landed Tomei at the top of the George Fox record books, with the 22 home runs leading all of Division III.
Fox ended their season with a 26-17 record, placing third in the NWC under first-year head coach
Nathan Ohta.
