GENEVA, Ohio -- It all comes down to this — after months of hard work and preparation, 10 George Fox track and field athletes have successfully qualified for the NCAA Division III National Championships in Ohio.
For the NCAAs, the top 16 relay teams qualify and top 22 individual competitors in the nation qualify for the final meet. Several Bruins have put their names near the top of the Division III leaderboards all season, with track and field coaches across the country taking note — both the men's and women's teams have been nationally ranked all season.
As it stands, six men's qualifiers will compete with four women representing the Bruins. Heading into the final weekend, both teams are ranked No. 26 in the nation. The Bruins improved upon their 2024 marks, when they sent nine athletes to South Carolina for Nationals.
On the men's side,
Aidan Arthur (1500m),
Darrin Campbell (Javelin) and
James King (High Jump) will compete at the championships, while three decathletes qualify:
Blake Smith,
Thomas McMillan, and
Max Ashour. Four of the five Bruins are first-time nationals qualifiers, with Arthur competing in 2024.
For the Bruin women,
Ellie Corwin will be competing in the javelin, with
Grace Tully (pole vault) and
Ellie Rising (800m, 1500m) rounding out the individual events. All three women competed in 2024, with each being named an All-American. In the heptathlon,
Jenna Huntsman will compete for Fox in her first appearance in the NCAA Championships.
Fox will look to cap off their successful 2025 season that saw the team capture their eighth consecutive NWC title. See the table below for all competition times over the weekend - note that all times listed are Eastern Time.
