GREENWOOD, Ind. -- The College Sports Communicators (CSC) officially announced their 2025-26 Academic All-District Teams for Track & Field/Cross Country, with 12 Bruins named to the list.
On the men's side,
Benjamin Bourne,
Caleb Doddington,
Caden Hildenbrand,
Larry Trefry,
Gavin Humphreys, and
Nate Hamilton all earned the honor. For the women,
Hope Bridge,
Karys Gates,
Abbie Goodwin,
Angela Hawkins,
Aubree Carr, and
Emily Foote all picked up the award.
While none of the Bruins moved on to Academic All-America voting, they did hit the maximum of 12 spots between the men's and women's teams. Fox was one of four NWC schools to do so, alongside Whitworth, Willamette, and Lewis & Clark.
Of the 12 who were named to the All-District Team, five (Hildenbrand, Hamilton, Bridge, Gates, and Foote) were also named to USTFCCCA All-Region teams in either cross country or track and field.
Emily Foote was named the NWC Cross Country Women's Runner of the Meet and qualified for both the NCAA Cross Country and Indoor Track & Field Championships.
In order to be eligible for the Academic All-District team, student-athletes must maintain a minimum 3.50 grade point average and rank inside the top-50 of their event(s) regionally.
In 2024-25, less than five percent of student-athletes earned this prestigious honor across all sports and divisions.
