NWC Announces All-Sportsmanship Teams

HILLSBORO, Ore. -- The Northwest Conference has named the 2024-25 All-Sportsmanship team, with 18 Bruins being named to the team.

All nine NWC institutions elected one member from their team who displays good sportsmanship throughout the season to be a member of the All-Northwest Conference Sportsmanship team. 

BJ Tokushima (baseball), Cory Schramm (men's basketball), Kylie Ritter (women's basketball), Kellen Ruiz (men's cross country), Abbie Goodwin (women's cross country), Ty Borde (football), Truman Fletcher (men's golf), Ainsley Carter (women's golf), Sasha Thayer (women's lacrosse), Connor Kong (men's soccer), Willa Evans (women's soccer), Tinley Taylor (softball), Aries Valenzuela (men's swimming), Abbey Nardella (women's swimming), Zach Moore (men's tennis), Cassey Hitch (women's tennis), Max Ashour (men's track and field), Shelby Larson (women's track and field), and Addison Coulter (women's volleyball) were all selected to the teams for George Fox. 

These 18 athletes accumulated five NWC Student-Athlete of the Week awards and six All-NWC honors, with Ashour being named Second Team USTFCCCA All-American in the 1500m. Additionally, Nardella competed in the at the 2024 U.S. Paralympics National Championships in Orlando.
