HILLSBORO, Ore. – The Northwest Conference office announced its Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of January 6 through January 12, with Riley Parker and Hanne Hopkins earning the weekly honors.

Parker won all four individual events she competed in over the weekend, helping the Bruins women's team add two more wins to the season. She opened with victories in the 50-yard freestyle (25.58) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:34.70), recording the eighth-best time in the conference in the 200 and winning the event by more than 10 seconds against the College of Idaho.

The senior then claimed the 100-yard breaststroke (1:11.22) by more than four seconds and held off the field to secure a .55-second victory in the 100-yard butterfly (1:02.15) against Willamette the following day to close out the weekend.

Hopkins was a force for the Bruins, putting together one of her best statistical performances in a 77–50 win over Lewis & Clark. The junior shot 8-of-9 from the field en route to a 21-point performance, while also adding six rebounds, six assists, and three steals to help GFU pick up the win. This marks Hopkins' third Northwest Conference honor of the season.

Parker and the swim team will host Senior Day against Linfield on January 24 at 11 a.m. Meanwhile, Hopkins and the women's basketball team will host Whitworth on January 16 at 5:30 p.m.
