HILLSBORO, Ore. -- The Northwest Conference office announced its Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Sept. 22 through Sept. 30, with Katelyn Lam being named to the weekly honor roll for women's golf.

Lam was the top finisher for the Bruins at the Division II Saint Martin's Invite, earning a top-10 finish thanks to a score of 149 (+5). The junior had three birdies in her first round, finishing the day with a 75 (+3), before bettering her score with a 74 (+2) on day two. Thanks to Lam's efforts, the Bruins finished 71 strokes better than their closest D-III competition and took third place in the D-II tourney. This is Lam's first NWC weekly honor this season.

Lam and the women's golf team will take on the Northwest Conference Fall Classic, hosted by Pacific, from Oct. 4-5 at Pumpkin Ridge (Ghost Creek) in North Plains, Ore.
