NORTH PLAINS, Ore. -- While the George Fox men's golf team performed better than in the previous round, they maintained their ninth-place ranking at the Fall Classic with a score of 609 (+41).
Top Performances
Eli Harrell had an excellent outing, shooting up 18 positions from his previous rank. Harrell shot a par or better on every hole on the front nine; specifically, he earned four birdies and five pars. On the back nine, he logged three birdies, carding the lowest second-round score of all the individuals with a 67 (-4). Between the two rounds, he shot an even-par 142 (E), ultimately tying for eighth.
Next for the Bruins was sophomore
Christian Chacon with a score of 77 (+6) for the second round. On the third hole, Chacon posted a birdie. He also put up three separate three-hole par streaks. Chacon ended the tournament tied for 35th with a cumulative 154 (+12).
Chance Griffin registered a 74 (+3), outperforming his first-round score. Griffin saw a birdie on the back nine and recorded two par streaks spanning three and five holes. Griffin rose to 40th place with a final score of 156 (+14).
Following Griffin were
Ian MacArthur and
Otto Klein, who finished 44th and 45th, respectively. MacArthur, one day after the first hole-in-one in program history, had a birdie on the front nine and scored an 86 (+15), totaling 164 (+22) between the two days. Klein put up two birdies on the final two holes, securing a 79 (+8), finishing with a 168 (+26).

George Fox will compete in their final fall tournament at The Clash in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., beginning Monday, October 19. Tee times are currently TBA.
