BOISE, Idaho. — The George Fox men's and women's swim teams competed in the NWC Championships, covering a wide array of events throughout the first day of the weekend meet.
Top Performances
Starting out with the Men's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay was
Wyatt Greene,
Owen Tonseth,
Christopher McLellan, and
Cameron Alexander coming in eighth place with a time of 1:28.66, making the second team. Meanwhile, the women placed second for the Women's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with
Riley Parker,
Donna Talmadge,
Heidi Gray, and
Gabbie Patti at 1:37.99.
Then, in the Men's 50 Yard Freestyle,
Cameron Alexander came in sixth place, finishing with a solid time of 21.33, while
Gabbie Patti placed first in the Women's 50 Yard Freestyle—at 23.33.
In Event 9,
Christopher McLellan,
Strom Nordeng,
Cameron Alexander, and
Wyatt Greene came in seventh place in the Men's 400 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 3:34.69, as
Gabbie Patti,
Riley Parker,
Ellie Hoover, and
Donna Talmadge came in second at 3:58.84 for the Women's 400 Yard Medley Relay.
What Happens Next
The Bruins will be back for the second day of the NWC Championship on Saturday, February 14. The start times are scheduled for 8:30 am and 4:00 pm.
