GREENWOOD, Ind. — The College Sports Communicators (CSC) officially announced their 2025–26 Academic All-District teams for the 2025–2026 men's basketball season, with
Jake Centner,
Cory Schramm,
Donovan Cooks, and
Nico Cervantes being named to the yearly honor.
The requirements for this nomination and selection process include being a sophomore, maintaining a GPA of at least 3.5, and playing in at least 90 percent of the team's total games or starting in 66% of total games. In 2024–25, less than five percent of student-athletes earned this prestigious honor across all sports and divisions.
Centner started 21 of the 24 games he played in this season. The sophomore averaged 6.4 points per game and 4.9 rebounds on the season, scoring his career high against Pacific on January 20 with 19 points, along with grabbing nine rebounds. The Arizona native was top five this season in total points (153), field goals made (55), three-pointers made (21), free throws made (22), and minutes (538), while also being second on the team in total rebounds with 118.
Schramm finished his final season with the Bruins, starting in 24 of all 24 games played. The senior averaged 3.5 points while leading the team in rebounds with 6.0 per game. The Washington native was second on the team in total blocked shots this season with 17, second on the team in total minutes with 564, and was fourth in total steals with 17. On January 20 against Pacific, Schramm posted a career-high 14 rebounds.
In his first year with the Bruins, Cooks started in 17 of the 18 games he played in on the season, averaging 30.8 minutes per game, which led the team. The junior guard also led the team in points per game with 19.3, along with leading the team in total assists with 70. For his efforts, he was named to the All-NWC Third Team.
Cervantes played in 24 of 25 games for the Bruins, starting in four games. In his first year with the Fox, he averaged 5.2 points per game in 15.3 minutes per game. The junior made the fifth-most free throws on the team with 21 on 80.8% from the line.
Fox was one of five schools in the Northwest Conference with the maximum of four student-athletes awarded. In total, the Northwest Conference saw seven schools post three or more Academic All-District honors, with Linfield and Puget Sound having three each.
