Davis Earns IWLCA All-Region Distinction

5/15/2026 12:00:00 PM

NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – The IWLCA announced the All-Region teams for the 2026 women's lacrosse season, with Lana Davis being named one of 256 student-athletes in NCAA Division III to earn the honor.

Davis was the lone Bruin to appear on the list, joining Renn Novak of Whitman as one of two Northwest Conference athletes recognized.

This marks Davis's second All-Region selection of her career following a first-team recognition during her junior season.

The senior midfielder will go down as one of the most elite offensive players in George Fox history. This season alone, Davis led the Bruins in nearly every statistical category, scoring 69 goals along with 51 assists, both career highs and both ranking inside the top 22 among all NCAA Division III women's lacrosse players this season. She also ranked seventh nationally in points with 120 overall. In addition, she led the team in ground balls (50), caused turnovers (39), and draw controls (125).

For the third season in a row, the Del Mar, California native was named a First-Team All-Northwest Conference selection and became just the second player in GFU history to earn Offensive Player of the Year honors alongside Andrea Kaelin (Garcia-Milla) in 2022.

Davis became the program's all-time career leader in points with 356 while ranking second all-time in career goals with 221. She also broke the single-season program records for caused turnovers (39) and draw controls (125) across 18 games.
She will end her tenure ranked in the top 10 in program history across eight different career lists, seven different single-season lists, and four different single-game lists.

Due to her accomplishments on and off the field, she also earned the GFU Female Student-Athlete of the Year award while being named NWC Student-Athlete of the Week five separate times this season.

Davis graduated this spring with a degree in financial planning and business marketing.

The Bruins hosted the Northwest Conference Tournament this year after claiming the conference title. They went on to lose in a tightly contested semifinal matchup against Willamette University, falling 7-6 to conclude their season.

The IWLCA will announce the 2026 IWLCA Division III All-American teams on May 22.
