HILLSBORO, Ore. -- The 2026 Northwest Conference women's lacrosse team has been announced, with six Bruins landing a spot on the list.

Fox claimed the Northwest Conference title following an undefeated conference record that propelled the program to 91 straight conference wins that began with a victory in the final regular-season game of 2016 against Puget Sound. The pack was led by four strong upperclassmen athletes who set the example on and off the field, along with two sophomores paving the way to the next generation of Bruins.

Dominating in midfield, Lana Davis saved her best season for her last, landing on the All-NWC First Team roster for the third season in a row and being named the NWC Offensive Player of the Year. The senior led the Bruins in nearly every statistical category, scoring 69 goals along with 51 assists, which were both career highs and both good enough for the top 20 across all women's lacrosse athletes in NCAA Division III this season, while also being sixth in the nation in points with 120 overall.

Davis also led the team in ground balls (50), caused turnovers (39), and draw controls (125). The California native became the all-time career leader in points with 356, while being second all-time in career goals with 221. She also broke the single-season program record for caused turnovers (39) and draw controls (125) across 18 games.

Davis will end her tenure being top ten all-time in program history on eight different career lists, seven different individual season lists, and four different single-game lists. Davis also earned the GFU Female Student-Athlete of the Year award, along with being named NWC Student-Athlete of the Week five different times this season. She is the second Offensive Player of the Year in GFU history, joining Andrea Garcia-Milla in 2022.

Ava Bluhm made the jump to All-NWC First Team this year following three straight years on All-NWC Second Team rosters. The senior broke the all-time career goals record this season with 233 goals throughout her four years. She was second on the squad in goals (47), assists (27), and draw controls (58), while leading the Bruins in game-winning goals with five.

Bluhm finished her career second all-time in career points with 313, while being top ten in program history on eight different career lists and seven different season lists.

Rounding out the First Team selections is Jasmine Uresti. The sophomore defender doubled her ground balls for the season from last year by 20, with 41 overall, which is second on the team. She started 17 of her 18 games this season, being second on the team in caused turnovers with 28. She also helped the Bruins' backline hold their opponents to a .376 shooting percentage on the year. This is Uresti's first All-NWC honor of her career, being one of five underclassmen to be named to the 12-woman First Team roster.

Sophomore Merrick Gibson earned the lone Second Team honors after another standout year. Gibson, who was an honorable mention last season, was third in points on the season for the Bruins with 53, third on the team in goals (39), and fourth on the team in assists (14). The Washington native started all 18 games this year, scoring three game-winning goals, which was good for second-best on the team.

Sasha Thayer was the second Bruin attacker to earn conference honors, being named to the All-NWC Third Team squad. Thayer combined for the most points of her career with 51, which was fourth best for Fox this season. The senior scored 32 goals on the 16th-best shooting percentage in Division III, with .615 for the season. She also added 26 ground balls with two game-winning goals. Thayer has also been named to the All-NWC Scholar Athlete team as well.

The final Bruin to receive conference honors for the first time in her career is Claire Abraham. The midfielder reeled in her career-high in points with five goals and two assists against Puget Sound and Lewis & Clark, en route to her 36 goals on the season, good enough for fourth among the Bruins this season. She also was fifth in assists (11), third in ground balls with 40, third in caused turnovers (26), and third in draw controls with 44.

The Bruins concluded their season with a valiant effort in the NWC Semifinal, falling 7–6 at home to Willamette in a tightly contested matchup. George Fox will now look ahead to the 2027 season, aiming to extend their conference success as new leaders emerge to uphold the program's standard of excellence in Newberg.
