Box Score AUSTIN, Texas --- The George Fox baseball team had another heart breaker on Friday, as Concordia Texas rallied a four run eighth inning to beat the Bruins, 6-0.

The Tornados took an early 1-0 lead after one, but Bruin' Dustin Wells settled in on the mound, keeping the game competitive for most of his start. After three scoreless innings from both teams, the Tornados were able to squeak in one more run in the fifth after three straight singles plated a runner.
The sixth and seventh innings were uneventful for both teams, but the eighth inning proved to be the most explosive for the home team. Concordia platted four runners in the eighth after stringing along a couple hits and capitalizing on a George Fox error.
Top Performers:
Gabe Louthan and Jalen Drath both recorded two hits apiece for the Bruins, as the team recorded six hits on the day.
What Comes Next:
The Bruins (3-3) will look to bounce back on Saturday with their first game against Pomona-Pitzer at 11:00 a.m. and their second against Rhodes at 6:00 p.m.
