SANTA BARBARA, Calif. --- The George Fox women's lacrosse team started their California road trip off the right way on Saturday, as the Bruins defeated Hope College, 13-8.

Recap:
The first period was back and forth as both teams went into the half tied, 7-7. The Bruins turned things around in the second half and got things going in a fury. The Bruins out-scored Hope, 6-1 in the second period.

It was a great effort by the whole team as six players got on the stat sheet, while three players score three or more goals.

Top Performers:
Alexa Nakashimada led the way with four goals and two assists. Lois Ray and Jess Hanson both tallied hat-tricks.  

What It Means:
With the win, the Bruins improve to 4-2 on the season.

The Bruins will play Worcester State on Monday, March 21 at 11:00 a.m.
