Box Score MCMINNVILLE, Ore. --- The Bruins entered their final weekend of baseball on Friday, as they fell to the Wildcats of Linfield College, 3-0.

It was a tough day for the Bruins in the batter's box, as the 'Cats held the Bruins to just two hits on the day. Dustin Wells, who was recently named Northwest Conference Pitcher of the Year earned the start for the Bruins out on the mound. Wells pitched five innings for the Bruins striking out two batters and giving up one run on six hits.
Wells did well to blank the 'Cats for four straight innings, but a single to centerfield gave Linfield its first run of the game. Alex Jondal came in to replace Wells in the sixth, and the 'Cats took advantage scoring two more runs.
What It Means:
The Bruins will complete their season with a double-dip on Sunday, May 1 with game one against Pacific Lutheran and game two against Linfield. First pitch will start at 12:00 p.m.
