WALLA WALLA, Wash. --- With less than 24 hours rest, the George Fox women's tennis team was back in action against No. 25 Whitman College on Sunday, as the Bruins fell, 8-1.

The Bruins showcased some great tennis in doubles, and Sarah Tuemmler and Taylor Barnes put up a tough fight at No. 1, but the Missionaries swept all three doubles.
Tuemmler continued to show why she is the Bruins' No. 1 with a 2-6, 6-0, 1-0 (10-5) victory. Catrina Kwong pushed her match to a tiebreaker, but fell, 6-2, 7-6 (7-5).

The Bruins (9-8, 4-4 NWC) will stay on the road as they play Willamette on Saturday, April 9 at 11:00 a.m.
