MCMINNVILLE, Ore. --- The George Fox women's tennis team played in its first Northwest Conference Tournament Semifinal Saturday, as the Bruins fell to No. 29 and No. 1-seed Linfield College, 5-0.

In tournament play, once a team reaches five points the match ends. Linfield entered the match with a national ranking of No. 29 and No. 5 in the west region. The 'Cats were quick to strike in doubles taking all three points to gain the advantage.
The 'Cats were able to secure their final two points of the match at No. 2 and No. 3 singles.
