PORTLAND --- The George Fox women's tennis team went on the road to take No. 33 Lewis & Clark Sunday, dropping the Northwest Conference match, 7-2.
Recap:
The top-ranked Pios took two out of the three points in doubles. Lydia Pia and Jillian Studer provided the Bruins' their lone point in doubles action with an 8-4 victory at the No. 2 spot.
Catrina Kwong gave the Bruins a hard-fought point in singles, as the senior posted a 7-6, 6-4 win at the No. 1 spot.
The Pioneers are now 8-1 on the season and 4-1 in the NWC.
What It Means:
The Bruins are now 3-7 on the season and 1-4 in the NWC.

The Bruins will hit the road and travel down to California. The Bruins first match is against Whittier Sunday, March 25.
