ORANGE --- The George Fox women's team closed out its California trip with a 9-0 loss to Chapman University, Wednesday afternoon.

Recap:

The Panthers were on fire early on, as they took all three doubles over the Bruins. Catrina Kwong and Sophia Lawrence had the closest match at No. 2 doubles, but fell 8-5.

The Bruins weren't able to muster up a comeback in singles action, as the Panthers won all six singles in straight sets.

The Bruins finished their California trip 0-3.

The Bruins jump back into Northwest Conference play April 7 against Willamette.
