MCMINNVILLE --- The George Fox women's tennis team fell to No. 24-ranked Linfield College on Sunday afternoon, 9-0.

The top-ranked 'Cats were able to start their day with a sweep in doubles. Catrina Kwong and Kristen Mock had the most competitive match at the No. 1 spot, but fell 8-4 to Basia Kopecka and Ella Riddle.

After suffering a 3-0 deficit going into singles play, the Bruins had a tough time getting anything going.

Linfield went on to win all six points and take the 9-0 victory.

What It Means:

The Bruins end their season 5-11 on the season and 3-5 in the Northwest Conference.

What Comes Next:

The Bruins graduate just one senior and will look forward to the young class making growth for next season.
