FOREST GROVE, Ore. --- The George Fox women's tennis team continued its hot start with a 6-3 win over the Pacific (Ore.) Boxers on the road.
How It Happened
The Bruins got two of the three doubles points with an 8-0 win by Ellie Mangan & Olivia Morris and an 8-1 win at the third flight from Danielle Brown & Taylor Morris.
Brown won her third singles flight, 6-2, 6-2, and T. Morris also won her singles matchup, 7-6, 6-0 in the fourth flight. Mangan took the no. 5 singles 6-1, 6-4, and Alyssa Byde won the sixth spot 6-0, 6-0 in a clean sweep.
Their Thoughts
"Another good team win for us," said coach Rick Cruz afterward. "Pacific has two of the best players in the conference so we knew the bottom half of the lineup would need to play well for us to win - and they did! I'm excited to get back out on the court tomorrow."

The Bruins continue their best season start in recent years with a 4-0 record and a 3-0 NWC record.
