How it Happened
The Blues began the scoring in the third with an RBI double, to which the Bruins responded with an RBI single in the fourth. The Blues quickly ran away with the game, however, and added four runs in the fifth, allowing the Bruins only one more run in the sixth before winning the game 2-6.
The second game's scoring began with the Bruins this time, featuring two runs in the second, supplemented by single runs across the fourth, fifth, and sixth following a Blues home run. However, the Blues gained back lost momentum with a three-run homer in the sixth, and a run in the seventh put the game into extra innings. Unfortunately, the Blues sent out another three-run homer to win the game 5-8.
