Their Thoughts
"I could not be more proud of this team," coach Rick Cruz said after the match. "To finish tied second is a major accomplishment for this group and for the program. Under tough circumstances throughout the year, this group worked hard, stayed positive, and had a never-quit attitude. I'm glad we have another week together and hopefully our best tennis is yet to come!"
What It Means
The Bruins cap their best regular season in program history with a 9-2 overall finish and a 6-2 mark in NWC contests. The win means George Fox can finish no lower than third and pushes Lewis & Clark from the tourney field for now at no. 5 in the standings.
What Happens Next
The Bruins will play in the Northwest Conference Tournament hosted by Linfield and will face Whitworth first in a 2 vs. 3 matchup. The overall seeding will be determined by Whitworth's result against Willamette.
