HILLSBORO, Ore. -- The Bruins concluded their 2024-25 season on February 16th at the Northwest Conference Championships. After their performance, three Bruins were named to the All-NWC teams.
Three Bruins achieved honors in five events, with
Cameron Alexander and
Jesse Urback both placing in multiple. Alexander was named to Second Team All-NWC after his performances in the 50 Freestyle and 200 Butterfly. He finished seventh in both events with a time of 21.54 in the 50 free, and a 1:56.69 in the 200 fly.
Urback was the lone First Team All-NWC Honoree, placing third in the 1650 Freestyle with a time of 18:05.74. She also earned Second Team honors for her performance in the 500 Freestyle, coming in sixth with a time of 5:17.91.
Laurel Knox rounds out the team with her Second Team All-NWC performance in the 1650 free. She finished with a time of 18:34.52, which was good enough for sixth place and All-NWC honors.
The swim team's season may be over, but all three of these award winners will be back in 2025-26 to compete yet again.
