NEWBERG, Ore. – Led by a career-high 24 points from
freshman guard Sage Indendi, the 7th-ranked George Fox University
Bruins remained unbeaten in 19 games with a 67-36 thumping of the

back. An 11-0 run, capped by an Indendi layup,
enabled the Bruins to build a 20-4 lead midway through the period,
half the points by Indendi. A Kristen Shielee
layup with five minutes to go boosted the Bruins to their largest
lead of the half, 26 points, at 34-8. The

by Ellen Vertatschitsch and a three by Jessica Brice to make it
34-13 Bruins at the break.

eight points.
George Fox maintained a comfortable margin throughout the second
half as Whitman could get no closer than 18 points, that coming on
an Anna Forge free throw which made it 44-26 with 11:37
left. Two free throws and a layup by Indendi got
the Bruins rolling again, and they eventually built their advantage
to 31 points when Danielle Roisom sank a three with 45 seconds left
for the final score.
Indendi hit 7-11 from the field with a pair of threes and 8-8 from
the charity stripe for her season's best, easily topping her
previous high of 17 points. Shielee finished
with 16 points on 8-10 from the floor and narrowly missed her third
straight double-double with a game-high nine
rebounds. She also had three blocks, while
Keisha Gordon had five assists and three steals.

points and pulled down four boards. Forge also
had four rebounds and passed out three assists.

overall and 5-5 in the NWC.
