Box Score NEWBERG, Ore. --- With the sun setting over the trees and the lights flickering on the field, George Fox University's women's soccer team played host to Warner Pacific in a Saturday night match-up.

With a nail biting first half the score stood still at nil-nil.
The second half looked a lot like the first with some great shots followed by great saves, but still the score didn't move from 0-0.
Adding on two golden goal periods after time ran out, both the Bruins and Knights took to the field for extra time. The Bruins dominated the first and second period of extra time out-shooting the Knights 4-1 in both periods.
With a fantastic chance in the second period, freshman Kenna Meinhart hit a ball that just slid past the far left corner that missed the net by inches.
After a grueling 120 minutes of hard play both teams would finish the game with a 0-0 tie.
Swanson finished the game with 10 saves, while Morgan Hansen recorded two of her own. Meinhart tacked on four shots with two of them on goal and Michelle Young recorded three shots all on net.
The Bruins start the season with a 0-0-1 record and will host Chapman University on Sept. 1 at 9am to look for their first win of the season.
