MCMINNVILLE, Ore. --- Five Bruins scored in double figures Friday night as the George Fox women's basketball team completed the season sweep of the Linfield Wildcats in a 76-56 win. 

Recap:
The Bruins fell down early in the first quarter, falling behind by as much as 12 points. Kaycee Creech helped reduce the deficit to single digits by the end of the first. Creech tallied four points and a steal in the quarter.

The Bruins responded well to begin the second quarter going on an 8-0 run to cut the Linfield lead to one. Hailey Hartney's two free throws with 5:16 to go in the quarter gave the Bruins their first lead of the game, 26-25.

A jumper from Kaitlin Jamieson in the final minute of the quarter gave the Bruins a 36-30 lead going into the half. 

The Bruins did damage from the free throw line in the third quarter, going 8-8 as a team. Three pointers from Kylin Collman and Haylee Hutzler pushed the lead to 56-43 in favor of the Bruins, who took an 11 point lead into the fourth quarter. 

Emily Spencer scored eight points in the fourth as Hutzler, Creech and Kimberly Frost also added to the lead. The Bruin defense stifled the Wildcats, allowing just 11 points in final quarter. 

The Bruins pulled away, beating Linfield 76-56. 

Top Performers:
Creech and Emily Spencer led the way for the Bruins, each scoring 14 points. Hutzler went 7-8 from the free throw line on her way to a 12 point performance. Kimberly Frost finished with 11 points and Kaitlin Jamieson added 10. Hutzler and Hartney each totaled five rebounds while Creech played the passing lanes to the tune of four steals

What It Means:
The Bruins improved their NWC record to 10-3 and maintain their tie for second place. 

What Comes Next:
The Bruins will return home to take on Willamette tomorrow night. Senior Night tipoff is set for 4 p.m.
