CORVALLIS, Ore. -- One week after winning the NWC Championships, the George Fox track and field team sent several athletes to Oregon State to compete in the OSU High Performance Meet.
Top Performance
Grace Tully finished in second place in the women's pole vault with a jump of 11-11.75 feet, she was the highest finishing Fox athlete of the day. For the men's pole vault,
Mauhia Kimata set a mark of 14-03.25 feet, finishing in tenth place.
Tahnisha Manibusan threw a 156-10 feet in the women's hammer throw, finishing in twelfth place.
Austin Imsland competed in the men's discus throw, throwing 131-11 feet, the mark put him in 15th place for the meet.
A pair of Fox runners ran in the men's 400 meter hurdles, with freshman
Connor Hatch coming in fourteenth place with a 58.48, and sophomore Tom McMillan in sixteenth with a time of 58.94.
Elizabeth Warren competed in the women's 200 meter sprint, running a 27.34 second time.
What Comes Next
Fox has several athletes competing in the second day of the OSU High Performance meet tomorrow, with events starting at 1:00 pm.
