McMINNVILLE, Ore. – The George Fox track and field team started their outdoor season with the Lindfield 10k, the first event in the Erik Anderson Memorial Icebreaker, and saw senior
Sarah Pullen take second place in the women's 10k.
Top Performers
Pullen set a new personal best with a time of 38:03, eclipsing her season best from last year of 38:13. Pullen finished over 20 seconds in front of the third place finisher en route to getting the first podium finish of the 2025 season for GFU.
In a men's race that saw the top finishers finish with times under 30 minutes,
Andrew Ross set a new PR with a time of 31:08 while finishing in 13th.
What Comes Next
The Bruins continue competing in the Icebreaker meet on Saturday, March 1 at Linfield University. Field events start at 9 am with men's discus and women's hammer, and track at 10:15 with the 3000 meter women's steeplechase.
