He returned to George Fox and received his degree in Health and Human Performance.

Scott was 32-5 in his Bruin career, with a 2.72 earned run average and 395 strikeouts in 304.1 innings. He appeared in 47 games, with 43 starts, and threw 11 complete games, including one of four no-hitters in GFU history. He is the Bruins' all-time leader in wins, strikeouts, starts, and innings pitched (tied with Cory Dixon), and ranks 3rd all-time in strikeouts in NCAA Division III history.

Scott was 7-3 as a freshman, 11-1 as a sophomore, and 14-1 as a junior, earning First Team All-Northwest Conference honors each year and NWC Player of the Year in 2004. In 2004, he posted a 1.99 ERA and recorded 191 strikeouts, the 2nd-highest single-season total in D-III history, while leading the Bruins to the NWC co-championship with Linfield College, the NCAA West Regional championship, and the NCAA Division III World Series championship in Appleton, Wis. During the World Series, he won three games, including the title game 6-3 over Eastern Connecticut State University, striking out 30 in his three appearances with 14 K's in a complete-game finale. He was named the World Series Most Outstanding Player, and for the season was D-III National Co-Pitcher of the Year with ECSU's Matt DiPietro, whom he beat in the championship game.

Scott Currently lives in Grants Pass with his wife, Anna Hyde. He works for Josephine County Community Corrections as a Probation Officer. In his spare time, Scott enjoys hunting, fishing, playing golf and traveling. Most of his time is spent with close family and friends.
