Hall of Fame
The 1964 U.S. Track and Field Federation 100-and 220-yard national champion, Janet Johnson McClurg was a world-class athlete. She finished sixth in the pentathlon at the 1967 Pan Am Games, and her 1967 400-yard time of 53.6 seconds ranked ninth in the world. Although Johnson left her biggest mark on the track, she also competed on four other George Fox teams. She played tennis and helped her volleyball, basketball and softball teams to conference championships.
