Hall of Fame
Tim Hagen fashioned a stellar high jump career from 1988 to 1990 after transferring to George Fox at the beginning of his sophomore year. He was a three-time NAIA District 2 high jump champion and set the district high jump record in the process. In the NAIA National Championships, he placed eighth in 1989 and third in 1990, earning All-American honors for each of those outstanding finishes. In 1990, he was an NAIA All -American in indoor track and field with a fifth-place finish. He is one of a few athletes in small-college history to surpass seven feet in the high jump with a jump of 7 feet, one-half inch in 1990, which is still the Bruin record. In addition to his on-field accomplishments, Hagen was named an NAIA Academic All-American in both 1989 and 1990.
