Barry Hubbell kept George Fox athletics in the media and produced award-winning sports publications during his 22 years as sports information director. His media guides and programs won more than 25 national awards, including five named "Best in the Nation." Hubbell joined the college in 1968 as director of information and added sports duties in 1970, continuing in that position until 1992, when he began concentrating on his position as executive assistant to the president.
