A four-sport athlete, Delbert Replogle went on to develop the nation's first television station. He played baseball, tennis, football, and starred as a basketball forward. He was named to the All-Oregon team by The Oregonian newspaper, and his 43 points in a single basketball game stood as a school record for nearly 75 years. He earned a master's degree in electrical engineering at Massachusetts Institute  of Technology, and was named George Fox's 1972 Alumnus of the Year.
