Hall of Fame
The 1986-87 George Fox men's basketball team posted the second-best record in team history, going 27-6 for an .818 winning percentage. The team won a school-record 15 games at one stretch and scored more than 100 points 13 times, including seven in a row. Five single-game and seven season records were established by the squad, including most points (143), field goals (57), and assists (41) in a game, largest average margin of victory (+20.4), and most field goals (1,258), assists (834), and steals (483) in a season. The team reached the finals of the NAIA District 2 Playoffs, won its NCCAA Regional, and participated in the NCCAA National Tournament.
