Robert Hadlock was George Fox's first athlete in a professional draft. After being named an All-American in 1970, he was selected in the American Football League draft. The 6-foot-6 defensive tackle and center also was a basketball player and three-time NAIA track All American in  the shot put. Hadlock went into Christian youth work full time and died in 1995 on an outreach trip to Nepal.
