Hall of Fame
Though the Bruins had made the National Championship for the previous three years, the 2012-13 team cemented them as a national mainstay. After winning seven events throughout the year — including the Northwest Conference title by 24 strokes — the women placed fourth in the National Championship, the best finish in program history to that point. Five players were All-NWC athletes, two were All-Region, and Kelsey (Morrison) Smith was the first Bruins to be named PING Player of the Year.
The following individuals competed on the 2012-2013 women’s golf team: Whitney (Jammerman) Hickman, Kiana Lumanlan, Loreece (Magsanide) Mateo, Abby Mann, Megan McGrew-Beverly, Kelsey (Morrison) Smieth, Melissa (Nugent) Howell, Hailey Ostrom, and coach MaryJo McCloskey.
