Bos transferred to George Fox from Jamestown University for his junior year; in just two seasons, he set several records and left his mark on the track and field program. A District 800 and 1500 meter champion in 1991, Bos was an NAIA All-American in the 800 meters. In the 800m, he set the school record all three days at Nationals in 1991, a record that still stands to this day. In addition to his 800m prowess, his 1500 meter time is sixth all-time. An NAIA Academic All-American in 1990 cross country and 1991 in track field, Bos went on to become the head coach of the St. Paul Lady Bucks from 1995-2001, and 2003-2007. During his time at the helm, the Lady Bucks became the No. 1-ranked team in Oregon 1A in 2000, winning 11 state meet event championships, 48 all-state athletes and eight District Championships.
