An All-American in two sports, McPherson holds numerous George Fox records in both volleyball and track and field. In volleyball, she holds George Fox career records for kills (1,449) and digs (1,641), season records for kills (517 in 1998) and digs (631), and single­ game records for kills (32) and digs (52) in one match. In track, she was an NAIA All-American in 1997 with a second-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles.
