Later earning track and field medals in the World Senior Games, Church of the Nazarene pastor Darwin "Cub" Grimm was a George Fox basketball, baseball and track athlete. Twice as a basketball forward, he led the Metropolitan Conference in scoring. In one game, he hit 26 of 31 free throws, finishing with 34 points. In baseball, he recorded a school-record 21 strikeouts against Reed College, and once pitched both games of a doubleheader, earning two wins.
