Kelsey was a vital member of the track and field team in her four years as an athlete. She was a vital part in the 2000 season when the Bruins captured a Northwest Conference Championship. She held the school record in the long jump and currently still holds the school record in the triple jump . She helped kick off a revolution in women’s horizontal jumping at George Fox that still reverberates to this day. She won multiple conference championships in the triple jump and long jump during her four years as an athlete. She was named second team Academic All-District VIII and was awarded multiple All-American honors. Since leaving George Fox she has become an amazing mother of three and serving Christ with her husband and family in Lima Peru.
Kelsey married Neil Cantrall (Fox alum ’02), and have been married for almost 13 years. The two have three amazing boys, ages eight, six and one. They have lived in Lima, Peru, for over four years, where her husband is an administrator for the International Christian School. She stays at home with her youngest, and teaches fitness classes a few days per week.
She said they approach each day knowing they have been given it for a reason. It’s another day to teach their children about who God is and how much he loves them. Another day to serve the staff and kids at their school, another day to love those around us despite the circumstances.
