The winningest coach in George Fox baseball history, Pat Bailey compiled a record of 353-158 in 12 seasons and  led  the Bruins to six NCAA postseason appearances, including a Division Ill national championship in 2004. The Bruins captured eight Northwest Conference titles during his tenure, and he was named NCAA Division 111 National Coach of the Year in  2004 after the Bruins went 40-10 (a school record for wins), won the region crown, and defeated Eastern Connecticut in the NCAA title game. The Bruins set numerous records under his leadership, including an NAIA mark for slugging percentage (.979) in 2005. Seven Bruins were NAIA or NCAA All-Americans under Bailey, and seven signed professional contracts. He also served the  university as the associate director of athletics.
