With one of the finest two-year careers ever at George Fox, Dieter Muenstermann made a profound impact on the men's soccer program during the 1991 and 1992 season. He was an NAIA AlI-District  2 First Team choice both years, while earning NAIA All-Area 1 First Team and All-American Honorable Mention honors in  1992 . He was also selected to the NSCAA All-Far West Team, as well as being named an All-American Scholar-Athlete by both the NAIA and the ISAN Adidas. He graduated from George Fox with a 4.00 grade point average. After graduation, Muenstermann played professionally for FC Thun in the National League B in his native Switzerland, where he still coaches full time.
