Softball pitcher Becky Stewart Richmond won 15 consecutive games in 1994, helping George Fox win its first NAIA District  2 championship and its second consecutive Cascade Conference title . She earned District 2 Player of the Year honors. Richmond pitched every inning of the 1994  district tournament, shutting out two opponents and giving up no earned runs in three games. She was named the district tournament's Most Valuable Pitcher. Advancing to the Bi-District playoffs, Richmond became just the second George Fox player to hit an over-the-fence home run on the school's Morse Field. Early in the season, Richmond pitched a complete-game two-hitter in a 1-0 loss to NCAA Division I Oregon State University. Richmond finished the season 15-3  with a 0.78 ERA. Richmond was a two-time first team all-district selection. In her four-year career, she went 29-8 with a 0.88 ERA.
